April 8 @ 8:00 AM - April 11 @ 5:00 PM
We are thrilled to welcome back Kaye England for our 2026 Retreat! This will be an especially meaningful event, as Kaye plans to retire afterward and, in her words, “go out to pasture” to “tend to her farm”. However, we at the Theatre prefer to call 2026 her “curtain call” or even her “creative opus.”
Kaye has put together an incredible lineup for the retreat, offering a variety of workshops designed for quilters of all skill levels. This year, attendees will explore medallion quilts, with several design possibilities, and dive into multiple applique techniques—both hand and machine. Want to refine your skills even further? You’ll also work with bias stems and get hands-on experience with borders in our “bevy of borders” session.
By popular request, Kaye will also cover quilt math, including techniques for working with AccuQuilt and AccuQuilt math.
Dates: April 8-11, 2026
Set-up begins: 8:00 AM on April 8
Retreat concludes: Noon on April 11
Evening quilting sessions included each night
Early Bird Registration: $325 (available until October 31, 2025)
Regular Registration: $350 per person (after October 31, 2025)
Includes: Lunches, dinners, and breaks throughout the retreat
All attendees must complete a registration form to secure their spot at the 2026 Welcome to Spring Quilt Retreat. When registering, we need the individual names of those who are attending the Retreat—even if you are registering for two or more people, we need everyone’s name and contact information. We also need any dietary restrictions. A registration form must be completed before purchasing your ticket to the event. We will post a few important items on the 2026 Welcome to Spring Facebook page but most of the information regarding the Retreat will be posted in January of 2026. Machines are required. You may also rent a machine from the local dealer if you do not want to bring one. Retreat registration fees are non-refundable. If for some reason you are unable to attend, you may= fill your spot with another person.
We can’t wait to celebrate Kaye’s final retreat with you—join us for this unforgettable quilting experience!
