April 18 @ 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Alleghany County Parks and Recreation is once again sponsoring Kids’ Fishing Day. Our goal is to enable local youth to participate in a great fishing event which we hope will leave them with a better appreciation and memories of an outdoor wildlife experience. So, bring the kids out for a morning of fishing, fun, and fresh air. This event is always a highlight of the spring and a great way to introduce young fishers to the joy of fishing!
Date: Saturday, April 18th
Time: 8:00am
Location: Dunlap Creek at Boys Home
*No fishing license required*
This event will mark the thirty-sixth consecutive year that the Alleghany Highlands youth will have the opportunity to enjoy fishing, spend time with their family, and develop an outdoor activity that we hope will carry onward for the rest of their lives.
