Police Officer

The Town of Clifton Forge is hiring for the position of a certified Police Officer.  An oral interview, extensive background investigation, extensive physical medical exam, physical fitness test, and a written exam are components of the selection process.

Fire Fighter/EMT-B or higher

The Town of Clifton Forge is hiring for the position of a Fire Fighter/EMT-B or higher.  An oral interview and extensive background investigation are components of the selection process.

Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening.  A high school diploma or GED is required. Certification in Firefighter 1, EMT basic or higher, and basic EVOC certification is also required.  DPO and aerial ops certification is preferred.

Skilled Laborer

The Town of Clifton Forge seeks motivated applicants for two part-time skilled laborer positions within the Public Works Department.

Applicants must pass a drug test and a background check.  Applicants must have a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license.

Currently seeking to hire part-time labors to help with seasonal mowing and weed eating. This position will last up to the fall. Must be able to pass a drug test.
