This class will be on May 20th from 10 am – 12 pm.  The cost is $20 and open to students as young as 8 years old to adults. There will be a maximum of 10 so be sure to register by May 15th. Students will learn how to paint on feathers, and all supplies will be provided.
Ronald Navroski is a self-taught artist who began his career in oil. Navroski began to be more passionate about choosing a medium with meaning.  He chose to paint on feathers.  Feather painting is a creative method to symbolize the powerful meaning of feathers which represents honor, trust, strength, wisdom and freedom.  A unique one of a kind “art” that is deeply revered and a sign of high honor from the heavens.   Ronald has won numerous awards and his feathers are displayed in the Shop of Alleghany Highlands Arts and Crafts Center, as well as other shops throughout Virginia.
