Theatre Summer Camp is for Children ages 8-16

CAMP SCHEDULE

Monday-Thursday (June 19-22, 2023)

10-12pm: Theatre Instruction

12pm: Lunch

1-3pm: Rehearsal

Friday (June 23, 2023)

10-12pm: Rehearsal

12pm: Lunch

1-3pm: Rehearsal

5pm Final Performance

THEATRE CAMP IS BACK AT THE MASONIC

Virginia Children’s Theatre Educational Summer Camp programming exposes young people to the craft of theatre, fosters creativity and develops critical thinking skills that instill discipline,enhance self-esteem and promote team building. Children will receive theatre instruction for two-hours Monday–Thursday, Lunch and two-hours of rehearsal. The final day will include four-hours of rehearsal culminating in a final performance at 5pm on Friday June 23, of James and the Giant Peach alongside professional actor/instructors. Scholarships are available. Please note that there will be no full scholarships awarded. Early drop off (8:00 AM) and late pickup (5:30 PM) is available on the ticketing page and registration form.
